It is true that the future is Connected devices and with this in mind we decided to add the intelligence to our everyday devices to make them connected. Over a decade of experience with working low voltage electronic systems – we used our experience to create a new segment of electronic devices which we fondly call them let me introduce to you Convenience Electronics.

The connected devices have limitless possibilities & we want our customers to have the Convenience to control them simply - Convenience to use via the app or just by a voice command. Convenience to control the electronic devices from anywhere, Convenience to program the electronic devices to function anytime and Convenience to get real time actions with useful data.

Brand History

With humble beginnings (2010) of creating a cutting edge technology for remote viewing of real- time video feeds & being awarded as the Top 30 Tech start ups of India (2011). To now with over a decade of experience of securing the iconic landmarks of Mumbai, telecommunication backbones to sprawling townships & parking management systems of thousands of car parks in Mumbai. With thousands of wired installations for huge complexes, factories etc. we wanted to create products with simple to use wireless electronics for the end user who would not have the option to purchase these traditional wired systems. And if end user ended up buying once there would been a ton of planning & wiring to turn him off. Begining with our core of security systems we first created the products in the security category and once the platform was created we added the same intellgenct to every day use products – hence making them intelligent & at par with todays hyper connected world.

Brand Introduction

Bay of Bombay is very close to the founders for many reason, they are born & bought up in the Bay, studied in the Bay, worked in the Bay & have thousands of installation in the Bay. Bombay in essence is their Alma Matter.

In todays lingo the Bae (pronounced Bay) is the special person & we our devices will also soon own that special place in your hearts with their simplicity & convenience. It will be hard to imagine a world without them.

The second part of the brand name is Bot – a friendly Bot which can connect to the internet and interact with other systems & users. A bot to help you & make your life convenient.

Our Team

Rachit Mundra

CEO & Founder

After graduating from MIT Pune, Rachit was recruited from campus by Adani Group, India's fastest growing multinational conglomerate in their Graduate Engineer Trainee program & then became a core team member of the IT Infrastructure division & setup the IT backbone for 23 Group offices globally.

After a 3 year corporate stint, Rachit turned first gen entrepreneur and founded EXFAQ a leading Electronic Security Company. EXFAQ was chosen as the Tech 30 – India’s most promising 30 startups by Yourstory Techsparks. EXFAQ has provided integrated electronic security solutions to marquee clients like Lodha Group, Rustomjee, Runwal Group, Bestseller, Radisson Hotels, Poddar Schools, Mumbai Police and many more.

Rachit is now back as an serial entrepreneur using his deep experience to create a new category of convenience electronics.

Shruti Mundra

CMO & Co Founder

A Commerce Graduate & masters in Fashion Designing, Shruti chose her love for kids and became an early childcare educator with Treehouse. After her stint as an educator, Shruti has been a full time mother to an energetic daughter.

She is now back as an entrepreneur using her early childcare educator skills of strong communication, creativity, enthusiasm - backed by her design sensibilities to create a strong brand identity for Baybot & run some kick ass marketing campaigns.
